Day in Hôtel Regina Louvre
During my recent stay in Paris, I had the pleasure of experiencing the Hôtel Regina Louvre, and it truly exceeded my expectations. While I’ve visited Paris many times, this was my first stay at this hotel, and it won’t be my last. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I had quite a bit of luggage, and to my surprise and delight, they generously upgraded my room to one with an incredible view of the Louvre—a quintessential Parisian experience! The hotel itself has a classic, slightly dated charm, but that only adds to its elegance and old-world Parisian feel. The room was spacious (especially by Paris standards) and beautifully maintained, with all the comforts of a five-star stay. Waking up to the sight of the Louvre every morning was absolutely magical. The service at Hôtel Regina Louvre was truly outstanding. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure my stay was seamless. Whether it was assisting with luggage, offering recommendations, or just making me feel at home, their hospitality was top-notch. The location is, of course, unbeatable—steps away from the Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, and Rue Saint-Honoré, making it easy to explore some of the best of Paris. Overall, while the hotel leans toward a more classic style rather than ultra-modern luxury, it’s still a fantastic choice for those who appreciate elegance, history, and exceptional service. I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return!

The hotel is nice, but I think it needs some renovations to the carpet, furniture, etc. I felt like the bed and desk chair were going to break down when I first used them. The hotel was clean. However, it may appear not clean because for example the carpet was very old and got some stains. And when you try to turn off the nightstand lamps, you would find it dusty from the back of the nightstand. The bed sheets were of a very good quality, but when I lied down, it smelled like dust; not sure if that is because of the way the housekeeping stored the sheets or because it was set for a long time. Staff generally were nice. Location is perfect. I didn’t have food in the hotel, so I can’t tell. And I really don’t know why it is rated as a 5-star hotel!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. The location was fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris and the Hotel Regina Louvre. The only complaint I have is that we had the "breakfast included" package. Each morning we were told we could order eggs or pancakes with two sides and it was part of the "included breakfast". However at check out we were charged 90 Euros for each day we had ordered the eggs and sides. I did ask bout it and the hotel took off two of the charges but left a 104 euro charge for a side of bacon. A little annoying! Other than that the stay was wonderful!!!

The room was spacious and very quite as it was facing the backyard. The hotel is located at the very heart of Paris, next to Louvre museum but most importantly next to the Tuileries park where you can breath fresh air, go for a walk and admire all the beautiful buildings and also the Eiffel tower. The hotel is also 2 minutes walking distance from the metro station Tuileries. So very easy to go shopping or go to the Gare de Lyon station or elsewhere in town. Breakfast was delicious, presented in buffet and also includes the option to order eggs or pancakes. Service and staff was excellent!

The hotel is across the street from the Louvre and one long block from the Seine. It also sits midway between two Metro stops on the No. 1 line. Our room was listed as a junior suite and did not disappoint. It was quite spacious, had a view of the Eiffel Tower, and a bed that can only be described as immense. The hotel has a full service restaurant that served breakfast every day. My wife and I can attest that the omelets and French Toast were both delicious and the orange juice fresh squeezed.
